Had a great experience working with Dr. Redden. She took the time to understand my injury history and current pain, and then worked with me over the next few months to get me back to feeling my best and injury free. She does a great job explaining what was going on with my movement and mechanics that were causing my issues, and I feel like I have a much better understanding moving forward on how to optimize my performance and stay injury free

Dr. Jane was able to identify and treat an injury that had been nagging my running and swimming for several months. The facility and equipment for patients is excellent! Highly recommend if you are rehabbing a sports injury.

Cannot say enough about how great Momentous is! Dr. Jane, Brittney, and the entire team have gone above and beyond. It honestly has been the most comprehensive and thorough PT services I've ever received. From intake/ mobility measurements, to treatment, dry needling, and exercises to help prevent future injury - Dr. Jane has been so wonderful! Even after just one visit I felt like brand new. They were so kind and accommodating. They fixed my back in two sessions and gave me exercises to do to prevent it from happening in the future. The location is convenient. They had cool technology to get be back to feeling great! They didn't work with my insurance so I had to submit that myself but it wasn't too expensive. I would definitely recommend this place!

I can't say enough about the team at Momentous Sports Medicine. I've been to a number of PT facilities in NYC and DC over the years and can say with confidence 'Momentous is just different.' Over the past two years, MSM has addressed issues with my hamstring, knee, wrist and both shoulders, using dry needling, physical manipulation and other approaches and techniques. They do an excellent job of diagnosing the root cause of what ails you (hint: it's usually another area nearby) and then trouble shoot until they get it fixed. I'm literally amazed every time I leave the facility.

Momentous changed my life--I am now running again thanks to Tim, Dr P and B at the front desk! They are knowledge, friendly and take dry needles and strength training to a new level. I know I'll be back to being the runner I was after 4 hip surgeries with Momentous in my corner. Also its easier to park there than you would think and great to be near two hipster coffee shops and ghost burger after.

I can't recommend Momentous enough the entire team is great and incredibly attentive and welcoming. I started working with Dr. Pittman in December for my back and she's worked miracles. I could barely move when I first came in and by the end of my assessment I had regained some mobility. I loved that Dr. Pittman did my assessment and started treatment in the same day.

I've been seeing Dr. K for a couple weeks now and have already seen HUGE improvements. I love that she explains what she is doing, why she is doing it and how it will impact the improvement of my knee issues. She's incredibly knowledge, has great bedside manner, and overall very nice. Dr. Vidale brought me back from three injuries using dry needling. At first I was hesitant, but after that first session I knew I was in the right place. Also, Dr. Pittmans soft touch is unmatched! Momentous offers the best physical therapy in the DMV.

This will be a fairly long review but I want to make sure that people searching for the best physical therapist find their way to Tim. Background: I was involved in an accident in 2017 that left me with nerve damage in my shoulder region. As an office worker with long hours, the constant shoulder and rib pain was really wearing on me and I decided that I would do whatever it took to get better. I went to 3 different physical therapists, a pain doctor, chiropractor and every specialist under the sun to get an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. The pain was intolerable and moved around different areas of my shoulder and neck as my muscles didn’t work correctly causing all sorts of imbalances and issues. I spent 3 years going to PT/doctors 3 times per week and had made little progress. Finally, my chiropractor told me that while he would happily keep treating me, he thought I should give one of his former colleagues a try, as he specialized in dry needling and could safely get to some of the hardest to reach areas in shoulder. That’s how I came to know Dr. Vidale. Dr. Vidale: Tim is far and away the best PT I’ve had the pleasure of working with. He attentively listens to what you’re feeling and address any mobility and pain issues you flag while using his own expertise to diagnose and treat issues that you may not be aware of but that are contributing to the pain/stiffness you’re feeling. In the year I’ve been visiting Dr. Vidale, I’ve made more progress than in the three years prior. More importantly, I’m getting closer to being pain free, which has made a huge difference in my day-to-day life. Aside from being an insanely skilled practitioner, Dr. Vidale is a consummate professional and a genuinely good dude. I cannot stress this enough – if you feel like you’ve tried everything and exhausted every option in treating your pain/stiffness, you need to give Dr. Vidale a try. I have no doubt that Dr. Vidale can take a relatively healthy person and make them even better, but his ability to solve problems that other PTs and healthcare professionals can’t is what makes him stand out as the best physical therapist around.

Dr. Tim supported our family when we were completely hopeless. Our son a high school football player injured himself and required PT. Dr. Tim met with us and eased our greatest fears. He was very clear - 'He will be back. I can get him right.' Relationships are important and Dr. Tim was the inspiration our son needed to come back stronger not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Dr. Tim supported his recovery but also motivated him along the way. He kept his promise, 'he got him right!' Our son is back on the field bigger, stronger and faster than before and Dr. Tim played a major role in his recovery. He is knowledgeable, professional, and caring. He definitely took this journey with us! We are forever grateful to Dr. Tim. If you need PT he is your guy. He will get you right! PS: COVID did not stop the work! Our son was able to receive services virtually. The virtual sessions were just as effective as in person.

I have been seeing Dr Vidale for dry needling and gluteus medius therapy since 2016. Previously, I was treated by 3 other PTs at different practices and Dr Vidale is significantly more knowledgeable, skilled, and caring than every other PT I have seen. He has FAAOMPT distinction (the highest level of musculoskeletal and advanced manual therapy training) which only 3 other PTs in the DC area have. I was happy that he returned to the DC area and now has his own practice. I have referred him to multiple friends and family.

3 months ago I was told by my orthopedic doctor I needed 'exploratory' knee surgery to get 'back' off my walker & to be able to sit, stand & walk without pain. I reached out to Dr. Tim Vidale at Momentous & in 7 weeks he had me doing this (squats, exercises)...NO PAIN...NO SURGERY. If you have ANY issues, sports, accidents, or just plain PAIN...I literally limped in and walked out. Go see Dr. Tim BEFORE surgery! It is soooo worth it.

Dr.Tim Vidale is amazing!!! My wife has been a patient for over 5 years and he has been able to give her movement again. She had back surgery over 3 years ago and even with the surgery not being a complete success, through Dr Vidale’s care, she has been able to function on a daily basis. Without his care, she would be in constant pain. Thank you Momentous.

Dr. Vidale is my go-to physical therapist. I've been seeing him since 2013. He's helped me through multiple injuries as a competitive runner, bi-athlete, and cyclist - chronic pain, overuse injuries, and surgeries. I always feel that he has my best interests in mind and am able to get back to competing with his treatment and advice.

Not only does Dr. Vidale help get you where you want to be, he also educates you on the way. I went in to treat some back pain and toward the end of my treatments, I was rear ended the following week. Dr. Vidale was able to see me immediately and walk me through nexts to get me back up and running. Definitely the cream of the crop.

I visited this facility today and was blown away by the skill, knowledge and professionalism that Dr. Vidale possessed. I came in with some one pain. Dr. Vidale identified some deep and acute knotting in my legs and used the dry needling technique to relieve the tightness and pain. He assessed my issue super quick; applied the right remedy and now I'm walking around without knee pain! The location is also conveniently located downtown, with free on street parking. So it was very accessible. I'll definitely be back and will refer this business to everyone I know in need of physical therapy services.

I have been going to Tim for years and was so happy when he opened his own physical therapy business. I was having some really uncomfortable shoulder pain and he moved around his schedule so that he could see me that day. He spent an hour with me both diagnosing the problem and doing a treatment. I got relief that day and he set me on the path to recovery where I am back to playing tennis and working out. You simply can't find anyone else who cares more about his patients.

Dr. Vidale provides a great service! I had about 6 session over a two months span to alleviate a torn hamstring. Within the first session I was walking better with less pain. I would recommend his services to anyone!

Doctor Timothy Vidale is a specialist in his field of expertise and it is demonstrated every visit. I am glad that he is back in the area, while he was gone the therapy I received was sub par. His knowledge, patience and professionalism is exhibited in all that he does including bis administration staff and the facilities that he occupies. Over the past 5 years I have been treated by Doctor Vidale for a variety of injuries either from car accidents and/or sports. Doctor Vidale will forever be my therapist!
