Vanessa Hale is a View Park, CA native who began her journey in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training at age 15. She attended Culver City High School where she began her journey working with football as well as track & field.
After graduating in 2012, she attended the University of Oregon for two years before transferring to Howard University. She continued as a student athletic trainer at Howard working with football, track & field, and tennis. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Human Performance in Fall 2017, she started Graduate school at the University of Houston.
In her two years at the University of Houston, she expanded her experience by working with volleyball, basketball, and baseball across several clinical rotations. She graduated with a Master’s of Athletic Training in May 2020.
Vanessa began her professional career first as a DME coordinator for a few months before her first Athletic Training role. In August 2021, she started her Athletic Training career at Clark Atlanta University as the Associate Athletic Trainer, covering mainly football, men’s and women’s basketball, and softball while assisting with women’s tennis. She concluded her three years at Clark Atlanta as the Associate Head Athletic Trainer for football, men’s basketball, and softball.
